Article 1 (Items and Methods of Collecting Personal Information)

The Company collects the following personal information to provide the Service.

Profile image, contact, portfolio, tech stack, career history

Access IP, access time, service usage records, browser type

Article 2 (Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information)

The collected personal information is used for the following purposes.

  1. Member management: Identity verification for membership service use, personal identification, prevention of fraudulent use by malicious members, confirmation of intent to join
  2. Service provision: Project matching, communication support between developers and clients, provision of project management features
  3. Service improvement: Service usage statistics analysis, new service development, personalized service provision
  4. Customer support: Complaint handling, delivery of announcements, responding to inquiries

Article 3 (Retention and Use Period of Personal Information)

  1. A member's personal information is retained until withdrawal and destroyed immediately upon withdrawal.
  2. However, where retention is required by applicable laws, it is kept for the period set by such laws.
    • Records on contracts or withdrawal of offers: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)
    • Records on payment and supply of goods: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)
    • Records on consumer complaints or dispute handling: 3 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)
    • Records on access: 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act)

Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

  1. In principle, the Company does not provide users' personal information to outside parties.
  2. However, the following cases are exceptions.
    • When the user has given prior consent
    • When required by the provisions of law
    • When there is a request from an investigative agency in accordance with the procedures and methods prescribed by law for investigative purposes

Article 5 (Destruction of Personal Information)

  1. When personal information becomes unnecessary due to the expiration of the retention period, achievement of the processing purpose, etc., the Company destroys the relevant personal information without delay.
  2. Information in electronic file form is securely deleted using technical methods so that it cannot be recovered or reproduced.

Article 6 (User Rights and How to Exercise Them)

  1. Users may view or modify their personal information at any time.
  2. Users may withdraw their consent to the collection and use of personal information at any time, in which case it is processed through membership withdrawal.
  3. Requests to view, correct, or delete personal information can be made through profile settings within the Service or the customer center.

Article 7 (Safety Measures for Protecting Personal Information)

The Company takes the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information.

  1. Encrypted storage and management of passwords
  2. Application of SSL/TLS encrypted communication
  3. Restriction of access rights to personal information
  4. Keeping access records to the personal information processing system
  5. Operation of a security system against hacking, etc.

Article 8 (Use of Cookies)

  1. The Company uses cookies to provide individually tailored services to users.
  2. Users may refuse cookie storage through their web browser settings, but in this case there may be some restrictions on service use.

Article 9 (Personal Information Protection Officer)

The Company designates a Personal Information Protection Officer as follows to oversee personal information processing and handle user complaints and damage relief.
