What does the 5% pay for?
We lock the payment in PG escrow and release it when conditions are met. Cases defined in advance are decided automatically.
Payment deposited
Once the contract is signed the payment goes into PG escrow, so the expert starts without worrying about the balance.
Released on conditions
When a milestone review passes, the escrowed amount is released to the expert.
Automatic decisions
A review deadline passing confirms the milestone, and no delivery triggers an automatic refund. These automatic cases cost nothing extra.

Who pays what fee?
Clients pay no platform fee. Card payments add the PG payment fee, while bank transfer and virtual accounts are lower. Experts pay 5% of the payout, minimum 10,000 KRW, once per contract.
Then how does Openworkz make money?
The 5% expert payout fee and the optional manager service fund the platform. The 5% is not a matching charge: it pays for locking the money and releasing it on conditions.
How are payments handled?
The client deposits the payment into PG escrow, and it is released to the expert as milestone conditions are met. Openworkz does not hold the money itself.
Does a dispute cost anything?
Cases defined in advance (a review deadline passing, a missing delivery, an unapproved milestone) are decided automatically at no extra cost. Dispute resolution support, where a person weighs the facts, costs 100,000 KRW per case and never more than 10% of the amount in dispute; the applicant pays it up front and the losing side bears it.
